About Jennifer

A thoughtful, experienced approach to therapy.

Jennifer brings warmth, honesty, and clinical depth to her work with clients. Her approach is founded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with attention to both the symptoms causing distress and the deeper patterns that may be keeping someone stuck.

Sessions may include reflection, practical tools, emotional insight, and support for building a more compassionate and steady relationship with yourself. Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience in private practice and has held clinical positions with several nationally recognized treatment centers. She specializes in treating eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma.

Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what has been hard to carry, and begin finding steadier ways forward.

The therapy experience

What therapy can feel like here.

Therapy does not need to feel cold, rushed, or one-size-fits-all. The work is paced with care and shaped around what is actually happening in your life.

In sessions, there is room to talk honestly, notice patterns, understand emotions, and develop tools that feel realistic outside of therapy. The goal is not to force quick answers, but to help you feel more clear, supported, and connected to yourself over time.

Common questions

Before starting therapy.

Clear answers can make reaching out feel a little less overwhelming.

Do you offer online therapy (telehealth) in Florida?

Yes. I offer secure telehealth to clients located anywhere in Florida, and in-person sessions in Coral Gables. You can choose whichever feels more comfortable, and it can change over time.

What do you specialize in?

I work with adults on anxiety, eating disorders and body image concerns, trauma, grief, boundaries, and self-compassion. On the eating side that includes anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, orthorexia, and ARFID, as well as disordered eating without a formal diagnosis. My style is warm, collaborative, and relational.

Where is your office located?

My office is at 6705 Red Road, Suite 610, Coral Gables, FL 33143. I also see clients throughout Florida by secure video.

How do I request a first appointment?

The easiest way is to schedule a consultation through the button on this site, which reaches my secure client portal. You can also call 786.542.8990. A first consultation is simply a conversation to see if we are a good fit.

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes, currently, both in Coral Gables and online across Florida.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out of network provider and can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. A good faith estimate of costs will be provided for you.

Is online therapy as effective as meeting in person?

For many people, yes. Research generally finds telehealth therapy can be as effective as in-person care for concerns like anxiety and depression. What matters most is a good fit between you and your therapist.
